Don’t, Panic, Dilston Grove

An installation project with Klára Kierzkowska as part of Don’t Panic, Dilston Grove.

Conceived as a confessional-like device through which users could share, in a semi-abstracted fashion via video link.

Two closed perspectives and the dampening of any sound created behind the installation’s doors provided an intermediate space for contemplation, thoughts and expression.

The confessional was constructed using woodfibre insulation and sheets of cement fibreboard and it’s design informed by research into traditional confessional booths – their scale, character, presence and function.

In collaboration with University of the Arts London and Southwark Park Galleries.
